Shortly after marrying Taylor, Simon released this song which she says is about three different men, but definitely not Taylor and also definitely not about me. I love the bass riff at the beginning…
Five years later, Carly Simon released this song which I always assumed was about me but in any case is certainly the best James Bond song.

Today’s musical selection is ‘Lover’s Concerto‘ by The Toys. It was the number one hit this day in 1965 (according to Cashbox). The song was written by Sandy Linzer and Denny Randell who cleverly copied the melody from Minuet in G Minor written by Christian Petzold in 1725. Enjoy!
