TUESDAY, the last day of February this year

Today is Peace Memorial Day in Taiwan – a public holiday. The memorial day seeks to solemnly commemorate the 228 Incident which started on February 28th 1947 and resulted in the deaths of thousands during a brutal military crackdown under the KMT rule. On February 27th 1947, a dispute between a female cigarette vendor and a Chinese official started civil unrest and open rebellions. The Chinese responded with severe military force and put Taiwan under martial law. Martial law was only lifted in 1987. The estimates of the number of people killed range from 10,000 to over 30,000.

A good feature

Bada Bing!

Most of my decisions are based on whether or not it’s illegal or merely frowned upon.

Accountability looks like persecution to people who are rarely held accountable.

Quote from Shaquille O’Neal…I can’t end my messages with “Love, Shaq”, the B-52s ruined that for me.

The two reactions I get to my sense of humor are…People who know me… BWAHAHAHAHA

People who don’t… WTF is wrong with you?

I love social media. Back in my day, I had to insult people one at a time.

Her: I’m sorry Daddy, I’ve been a bad girl. Priest: For the last time, it’s “forgive me Father for I have sinned.”

Dear football players, the men who haven’t gotten off the couch today would like to know why you didn’t catch that ball.

I ate a bunch of cookies but at least I was thinking about salad.

I think it’s adorable they’re putting jokes on the side of snacks now.  Like this one; serving size: 3 cookies.

I totally expect my last words to be, “Hey, what’s this button do?”

If you’re trying to impress me with your vehicle, it better be a food truck.

I can’t decide what pants to put on today, smarty or fancy.

Bruce Lee was fast. But his brother Sudden was faster.

Today is the birthday, in 1957, of Cindy Wilson, singer and founding member with American new wave rock band The B-52’s who had the 1990 UK No.2 & US No.3 single ‘Love Shack’. She previously sang with The Ramones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SOryJvTAGs
